A Long History

Watts Water Technologies, Inc., has a long history: The company was founded by Joseph E. Watts in 1874 under the name Watts Regulator Company. Watts Regulator started as a small machine shop supplying parts to the New England textile mills, including manufacturing pressure-reducing and relief valves to ensure the safe operation of water heaters and boilers.

Today Watts Water, through its various brands and subsidiaries, is a global provider of plumbing, heating, and water quality solutions for residential, industrial, municipal, and commercial settings.  Our family of brands & companies offers one of the most varied plumbing, heating, and water quality product lines in the world— ranging from simple under-sink water supply stops to drains, backflow prevention assemblies, rainwater harvesting systems, and hydronic & electric heating solutions.

Global Presence

We have a global presence, from our corporate headquarters in North Andover, Mass., to key business subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, Canada, the Middle East,  and Africa. The Watts Water Technologies, Inc., executive team brings together a significant depth and breadth of management experience.

Strategic Goals

Watts Water is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol 'WTS'. As a public company, growing shareholder value is critical, and to that end we focus on three strategic corporate goals: Growth, Operational Excellence, and “One Watts Water.”
