Watts Water Technologies Acquires Microflex N.V.

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., Jul 05, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Watts Water Technologies, Inc. (NYSE symbol "WTS") announced today that it has acquired Microflex N.V., located in Rotselaar, Belgium, in a stock purchase transaction.

Watts Water Technologies' Chief Executive Officer, Patrick S. O'Keefe, commented, "Microflex produces and distributes flexible, pre-insulated, waterproof PEX pipes for hot and cold water transport, as well as a range of accessory products including couplings, caps, and insulation kits. This acquisition allows Watts Water Technologies to expand its product offering in the HVAC and water protection markets. Microflex products provide its customers with a reliable and safe solution in the transportation of water for heating, cooling and potable water applications. Microflex has annual revenues of approximately of $8.5 million USD."
